I’ve been having some troubles sticking to books in the last few weeks and have DNF’d two – Ramona Blue and Caraval. I just couldn’t get into them. But, the book I’m reading right now has gripped me and I also got a few rad books in the mail this week too, so I think I’m getting out of my reading slump.

What are you currently reading?

Novel (in print): Warcross by Marie Lu

Oh my goodness. I started this book on Monday and I’m loving it! I finally read on my lunch break again (that hasn’t happened in weeks!). This book is super fun and I’m stoked to see where it goes. As promised, it is action-packed, interesting, and has incredibly cool world-building. And, the naked book is a gorgeous turquoise. Stay tuned to my instagram for a few more shots of this book.

What did you recently finish reading?

I haven’t finished any books since Lumberjanes almost two weeks ago!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Graphic Novel (in print): Delilah Dirk and the Turkish Lieutenant by Tony Cliff

I heard Tony speak last weekend and 1) his books and the character of Delilah sound super rad! (female Indiana Jones type in early 1900s) and 2) he seems like a really awesome guy. The first two Delilah Dirk books are ready and waiting for me on the hold shelf of my library and I’m picking them up tonight. Book three comes out later this year.
