After my huge book haul from Emerald City Comicon, I tried to be really good and not buy a ton more books. I was pretty good! I’ve included below the comicon books and the three others I received from the super kind Jessica at Playwrights Canada Press.
I also managed to read quite a bit – two audiobooks and a whole bunch of kids books (I was researching for my nephew’s first birthday gift) and some graphic novels, and a few hardcovers too.

In case you missed it
I tried out some new posts and memes in March, along with the good old staples.
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. It’s a way to share with each other what we’re reading and what we might read next. I posted four WWW Wednesdays, on March 1, March 8 and March 15, and March 29.
Speaking on Wednesdays, we had one Wednesday Writing Prompt in March. It was all about blood! See the prompt, and the response.
My Spring TBR showed up in Top Ten Tuesday too. And, I joined a blog tour for a new urban fantasy novel called Summoner Rising. It sounds like a shivers-up-your-spine creepy read. 🙂
I love books and tea, and the super kind folks at True Tea Club sent me a box of their teas to review. It was delicious! And some pretty great mail.
On top of all these fun posts, I also wrote about my plan to reread the two books in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series before the third book comes out on May 2.
So, there you go. It was a busy month and April looks like it will be just as busy. I’ve got some more plays to review, a readathon to participate in, and a manuscript to beta-read. I’m pretty stoked!
