I wrote a earlier this month about my reading goals and my writing goals for 2017. One of my main reading goals is to read the books that I already have.

I have 57 unread books on my shelf. This includes digital, audio, and print.

This number isn’t obscene (I know some people have hundreds of unread books on their shelves). But it is still pretty high. Especially for a small house with only three bookshelves. They are stocked! As much as I would like to add more books (because they are so darn pretty!), I know I don’t have a lot more room for them.

I stated in my reading goals post: In the next twelve months I will read at least two books that I already own for every new book that I buy/borrow/read.

So, here is a list of the books I know are on my shelf, my Kobo, or in my Audible account, that I plan on reading this year. They are in no particular order. (So please, tell me your favourites so I can figure out an order!)

some of trishajennreads 2017 TBR

This list will continue to grow as the year progresses. I know this. You know this. I am a bibliophile who can’t not buy a new book or two (or six…) each month. I also am currently subscribed to a bookish subscription box, and adore scouting through charity book sales, bookstores, and airport book kiosks.

This list is my reminder to myself that I should consider carefully whether I need to buy a book right now or whether it can wait to be picked up from the library. I do have a few auto-buy authors in my life, though. I’ll write about them soon.

How about you? What’s on your 2017 TBR list?
Have you read any of these? What did you think of them?
