Today’s topic is: Books on my autumn TBR list

There are soooo many books on my TBR right now. But, I will give you the top ten that I hope to read in the next bit. These are at the top of the list for a few reasons – either I’ve received them for review and so I want to make sure I get them read and reviewed, or they are library books, or I’ve had them for ages and keep wanting to read them, or I just really, really, really want to read them. 🙂

1. The Orphan’s Tale by Pam Jenoff

I got approved for this one on Netgalley. It promises to be a beautiful and emotional read.

2. Iron Cast by Destiny Soria

I got approved for this book on Netgalley too! The cover is so gorgeous and it looks so interesting.

3. The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson

The sequel to The Girl of Fire and Thorns. It’s finally coming up in my library holds.

4. Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas

You knew this one had to be in here. I’m super lucky enough to have a lovely friend who’s leant me her copy! Woohoo! And then, once all of the Throne of Glass books are out in paperback, I will complete my collection.

5. Room by Emma Donoghue

Award winning book. Award winning movie. Super interesting concept. I want to see what the voice is like in this one.

6. And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

I bought this for my vacation in June and still haven’t read it.

7. The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

Another book I bought months and months ago (on sale! woot!) and still haven’t read it. I even wrote about it in my books I want to read feature.

8. The Art of Secrets by James Klise

I picked this one up at a charity book sale and really want to read it. It looks fun.

9. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hossein

This one also came from the charity book sale. I know it will be intense and emotional and I’ll need to be the right mood for it. I’ve heard so many amazing things about it.

10. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

I really, really want to do a reread of the Harry Potter books. After reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child this summer, I realized how long it’s been since I read Harry’s story. I will make time for this somehow.
